Run Home

Yesterday I ran home from work! I had brought a back pack full of clothes because I decided that it’s probably time I need to begin thinking about a base for track. I figure for what my body/time will allow I’ll run the 12 km there and back each day Mon-Thurs and probably take the weekends off. Perhaps a hill workout or drills on Saturday. I’ll need to eat more too. So the run was very nice, I ran over the harbor bridge with the opera house and rocks in view. Gorgeous. Got back and had my last JS Porter and tried the Sinha Stout. Which was decent [85/100]. Then I made it to the store and bought supplies to make an Indian dish. I got red lentils, a jar of Indian curry spice and an array of other veggies along with kangaroo. I’m calling it Roo Dahl. It was delicious.
Had a tough night of sleep, but got up at 6:30 and watched the news like my normal routine, but this time I was out the door at 7:40 on the run to work. It was a pain dodging people especially on Elizabeth and George St. The way TO work is a lot more difficult than the way home. Showered when I got here, and for this afternoon will be Rock Climbing around the corner from ASDM with a couple of the other employees and then perhaps trivia night tonight at Porter house.
