After my blog from yesterday I went back to the room. From there Kevin, Scott, Taylor and Nick had us all over to have a few drinks on their balcony before heading to the festival. Things got fun and we made our way over. It was absolutely packed, yet I found it extremely enjoyable being around everyone in Sydney. We visited several venues. I made sure to bring a gallon jug of frozen water because it had already hit 102 degree, and it had hardly come down. Anyways We found a really good stage with a rapper where we stayed and danced a little. They were giving out free water bottles, condoms, and electric fans, so we made sure to get in on that. We decided after an hour or two to get some food. I met a mime. It got pretty difficult to keep everyone together so we eventually broke apart. I went with a couple girls to get kababs (which were incredible). then we had a tough time meeting back up with the other group. My group pretty much all went home (lame) but a few decided to wait with me until we found the other group, being as I didn't get a phone. We found them and watched a pretty cool acrobatic act. Finally the festival ended and we went to go check out a couple clubs in the CBD. No one would let us in though because we were wearing shorts. Finally we ended up at Bar Cleavland, right by our apartments before the night ended.
Early today I made it to Bronte beach, which was supposed to have the best waves, but I guess it was a slow day. Played some Frisbee, swam, and explored. I still think Manly was the best beach.
I begin my internship tomorrow at 10 a.m. with an interview!
